PROFILE

For over two decades Jack Dakin has built a body of work spanning design typologies. He began his career working directly with some of New York's hospitality visionaries, eventually joining notable high-profile design firms and serving as lead designer on major restaurant, hotel, and casino projects across the globe. These experiences broadened his perspective and honed his expertise in crafting spaces that unite architectural design, atmosphere, and human experience.

Jack went on to establish his own practice, developing projects across the United States. He designed spaces in New York, San Francisco, New Orleans, Los Angeles, and Dallas, each noted for its distinct spirit and unexpected details. While continuing his pursuits in hospitality, he expanded his focus to residential work. His practice reflects the belief that design is a combination of place, craft, and narrative, balancing character and utility through a multidisciplinary approach that is expansive in thinking and deliberate in execution. His work crosses many scales and boundaries, ranging from hospitality and gaming to residential and retail. It is this ability to move between complex interplays of disciplines that allows him to communicate with clients and operate across a variety of project types, delivering spaces that have value for both clients and the communities they inhabit.
